Since it began operating in 1992, Primeshade has developed into one of Britain's leading installers of utilities infrastructure on an integrated-utility basis. Our services cover the design, project formulation, project management and multi-utility installation of gas, water, electricity and telecommunications networks for domestic, industrial, commercial, public, and mixed-use community developments. Primeshade also installs new gas networks for existing communities where gas mains supply has become available; and off-site feeder connections for gas, water (as well as fire water mains and pumped (rising) sewers) and electricity.
Our operations managers and their teams of fully-accredited, multi-utility operatives consistently achieve best-practice standards for quality management, compliance with HSE regulations, and customer service. We are also gearing up to be at the forefront of installation practice for the innovative techniques and technologies needed to meet the rapidly advancing standards relating to the sustainability of energy and water supplies, for example, ground source heat pumps tapping geo-thermal energy tens of metres underground; hot water networks in conjunction with community-centred Combined Heat and Power plant; and dual-water systems to reduce water demand by some 40%.
Recent regulatory developments now enable us to provide these services, end-to-end, on a seamless multi-utility basis, thereby offering significant benefits in terms of overall efficiency, reliability, customer service, and the minimisation of lead times from initial concept to commissioned utilities infrastructure. More specifically, the range of services we offer covers:
- budget-type planning and costing of alternative options for the provision of utilities infrastructure, including potential options relating to advancing sustainability standards
- detailed design and planning for such infrastructure once selected and approved by the planning authorities
- project formulation and management for the phased end-to-end installation, commissioning and hand over of the utilities infrastructure
- where applicable, the continuing, reliable operation and maintenance of parts of the infrastructure so provided.
